Special Facelift Features:
- Ramping - The pulse power of the fi rst and last laser pulses in one pulse sequency is increased/decreased successively.
- PulseShape - for diffi cult alloys to weld for
- MicroWeld - An option for generating weld spot diameters smaller than 0.1 mm for the fi nest applications.
- With the burst mode activated laser pulses are triggered until the pre-determined number of pulses is reached or the foot
switch is released.
- Patented SweetSpot Resonator - No fi rst-pulse-effect. Excellent, constant beam quality.
- The ECO-mode switsches off systems parts when not in use. Power consumption drops to 10 Watt.
- Optional: USP-Port - Down- and upload of parameter sets, log-fi les and history.
- 100 % German product: Design, engineering, production.

Which materials can be welded
On of the main benefits of laser technology is to weld a huge variety of materials. In many cases, laser welding can be done without any filler or additional materials, in some applications it is, however, advisable.
Ergonomics
The housing has an innovative ergonomic design. The positioning of the manual ports allows non-fatiguing operation for the user, and the positioning of the optics allows a comfortable seating position. Inert gas supply and laser pulses are actuated comfortably via foot switch.
Operation and Safety
The working chamber can easily be accessed through two large flaps on the side to be opened upwards. The working chamber is quite large with an easy access. For large components, the bottom of the housing can be removed. The system is a class 1 laser. A safety certificate states that, when appropriately used, the laser beam does not leave the chamber. The user's eyes are protected against laser radiation at any time.
Viewing System – Optics
The viewing of the welding process is done via the LEICA stereo microscope with 10 times magnification. The brilliant 3D image of the workpiece allows non-fatiguing working on fine structures.
Housing
The welded steel housing is powder-coated on the surface according to RAL 9018 (papyrus white).
Working chamber
Within the working chamber you will find a flexible and fixed inert gas nozzle,
and a cooling air spray nozzle. The cooling air spray nozzle is operated manually.
By use of a potentiometer, illumination of the workpiece can be dimmed according to the operator's preferences.
Cooling
The generated waste heat is regulated by an internal water cooling and
a water-air-heat exchanger.
